== Ingush architecture ==
Ingush architecture is the art of building monumental residential, defensive, religious and other unique structures by the Ingush people, as well as the totality of all these objects on the territory of the historical settlement of the Ingush, which are a vivid evidence of the unique material culture of the entire Ingush people. There are about 1500 objects of various historical and material culture monuments in Ingushetia, of which about 100 objects are specifically tower–type medieval towns-settlements, and some of them are considered ancient cities.
The highest flourishing of Ingush architecture was manifested in the tower construction. Scientists believe that it originated in ancient times, they associate it with the remains of megalithic cyclopean dwellings, that were found on the territory of the spread of tower architecture (Ingush settlements Targim, Khamkhi, Egikal, Doshkhakle, Kart, etc[
